> "Review of the water sports offer" (Une réflexion sur l’offre de sports nautiques)

The Office de la Mer, in collaboration with the City of Marseille and the various clubs, associations, professionals and companies involved in water sports, is conducting a review of the water sports offer in the Marseille basin with the aim of giving the local population and tourists access to introductory lessons in the disciplines concerned.

> "The Mediterranean Sea Academy" (L’académie méditerranéenne de la mer)

The Office de la Mer was approached by local authorities to analyse, observe and advise on the development of a plan (part of an approach to the integrated management and governance of the Marseille coastline and maritime domain, in consultation with all the participants concerned).The Office de la Mer is working towards the creation of an academy devoted to the Mediterranean, gathering recognised specialists with the aim of promoting the maritime world of the Mediterranean: science and technology, maritime history, literature and art, sailing and oceanology, etc.

> "Young Mediterraneans" workshop (Les ateliers des jeunes de la Méditerranée)

This project, co-ordinated by the Office, is deployed all across the Mediterranean countries, with institutional partners such as the French Ministry of Education. It aims to promote a positive maritime identity and culture amongst the children of these countries through activities with multiple themes: poetry, historical heritage, arts, stories, songs, etc.
